The EuroTrash Post or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Techno...

It's been a while since I've commented on my life or anything that was associated with it.

Today, I cleaned out the troughs of the house, a very messy and possibly dangerous job. It was fun running around on the roof of my house and busting a move while trying to scare the hell out of my mom. She was pissed :)

Anyhow, during the course of keeping my balance on a slanted roof and attempting to rapidly age my mother, I was thinking of old Euro songs that were popular like Eiffel 65's Blue or Sash's Ecuador. I used to be an avid follower of Euro and techno songs, but my tastes have expanded. I still listen to Euro and techno, but I also listen to pop, rock, and anything else that may catch my ear.

For some reason, I was reminded of a song by a German dance group named ATC who had a single out about seven years ago titled "Around the World (La La La)."


I went over to my laptop after to check out the video for this song. While on the handy dandy video site named YouTube, I discovered this gem:



Yep, another German dance group whose song pretty much matches tune for tune the original ATC song. I do know that ATC's song was the cover for a Russian band 10 years ago, but this was interesting. As well, the dark-haired Swiss chick in this video is pretty hot too! I just hope she isn't taken :)

Even though the tunes are the same, the video isn't too bad. Then again, I do like seeing new things...
